If I had it to do again I would definitely choose Birds of a Flower again and even arrange the date around their availability- if they haven't already started they'll be booking up quickly soon. They're new as partners but both have a lot of experience separately before bringing their wonderful team together.
One last important thing- they're so open when it comes to discussing pricing. We were aiming on the lower side of most budgets I'd heard about. They were a great help to stick within it while giving us plenty of options.
Furthermore, we can’t say how much we appreciate their willingness to handle all budgets. Piper and Heather worked with us to develop a stunning floral display for the event on a very modest floral budget. Frankly, some other florists in the area laughed us off when we told them we weren’t prepared to spend several thousand dollars on flowers, whereas Birds of a Flower actually embraced this. In fact, we feel they delivered an amazing value considering the cost.
We cannot recommend Birds of a Flower enough and would encourage you to contact them immediately to discuss your vision and plans. You won’t be disappointed!
I am the type of girl who knows what she wants…. but doesn't always know how to get there. Birds of a Flower built a bridge from my fantasy to reality. My wedding flowers were the most unique and obscure that i have ever seen, in addition to smelling amazing. It was their idea to include mint and rosemary in my bouquets because I am a chef by trade. They also hand crafted a special floral ring holder to wrap around my dogs collar so that he could act as our ring bearer! These women surpassed any expectations i had of what flowers can bring to a special day. We have since been fortunate enough to book their services again for our baby shower and were again amazed by their creativity and professionalism.
There were several unexpected personal touches along the way that really touched us and made the event that much more special.

Heather and Piper at Birds of a Flower are absolutely wonderful. The perfect, tasteful, exactly-what-we-wanted flowers were just the beginning. They anticipated many things we didn't even know to plan for and became kind of wedding planners in addition to creating the lovely atmosphere of the day. They were always wonderfully kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Out of our tiny wedding celebration the only other people planning a wedding snatched them right up to do their flowers too! And that was our wonderful venue owner and chef himself with tons of local wedding experience!
For anyone looking to get married in Woodstock, VT or the surrounding area, I HIGHLY recommend using Birds of a Flower. Piper and Heather are phenomenal to work with! I live in Colorado, so a large portion of our communication and planning was done via phone, email, and Pinterest. When they arrived with the bouquets and I saw the arbor at the ceremony I was overcome with tears of joy. Flowers are such a big part of the day, and they NAILED it! I had a particular idea for how I wanted things to look. They took the time to listen to me and make sure they got every detail right. They are efficient, respond to emails quickly, and take the time to make sure YOUR vision comes through on your special day. Honestly, I feel beyond grateful to work with these two because they made my day beautiful and unforgettable!!
They were very receptive to our input regarding our vision and preferences, and they even managed to make the planning and process a lot of fun. We felt comfortable telling them when we weren’t crazy about something, and in fact, they welcomed it because it was apparent that their primary concern was to design arrangements that we loved.
I cannot say enough about how fabulous Piper and Heather are! Our Woodstock wedding was beyond beautiful - all thanks to the Birds of a Flower team! They were a dream to work with, professional, very responsive, respectful of our budget and above all SO creative! Really, they took a few pins I'd picked out and ran with it. They handled all our flowers and our decorations. They were extremely hands on about all the details. Our venue was a blank canvas and they truly transformed it into the setting I'd dreamed of.
