This hotel was absolutely charming. The restaurant was good as well. The price of the room was a bit steep but may be somewhat understandable since there are not many places to stay in the area.
Stayed one night. It was very cozy. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a nice buffet with many options.
I had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The staff is really friendly. The inn is located in a remote little corner of Vermont. My favorite part was that there was no cell reception; the WiFi works great though if you do feel the urge to log in. The room was huge and had everything you'd need. It even had its own fireplace, which was neat. You can lounge by the side of a natural pond next to the inn that you get access to as a guest, or take a dip in it if you're feeling like it! Finally, the seared salmon that I had for dinner was absolutely amazing! It quite literally melts in your mouth!
Horrible customer service. They recently called and abruptly cancelled our 3 day reservation. We were informed via a rude voicemail and have yet to receive our refund. Steer clear of this property!
Lovely inn where the staff was super friendly and understanding. We booked a two night stay in early August 2017. Our room was full of character and immaculately clean, the only draw back was that it was fairly small, located just above the dining room and the music playing in the dining room made falling asleep difficult. The next morning we asked if any other rooms were available and the staff kindly moved us to a quiet and spacious room. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and delicious coffee. The inn's location was also a plus - located away from Woodstock center and next to a swimming pond, making it a relaxing stop on our tour of Vermont.
