Been going to Wayne's market for years since I was a kid with my dad, they have the best meats in town and the pinwheels are to die for. I always stop in after skiing or camping for a weekend for a pinwheel to bring back to MA. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed!
Beer selection is phenomenal. Deli sandwiches are amazing. Wish I had a grill because the butcher shop is as good as it gets.
One stop shop for every need. Gas, propane, Tobacco and lottery, beer and wine, grocery items, meat counter, deli, aweseme prepared food and desserts. If this place doesn't sell it, you dont need it. Highly recommend to all!
I have nothing but good things to say about the meat dept and the deli staff. They have always been very professional and helpful. However, the woman with the glasses and dark hair at the counter needs some anger management help. She is the nastiest B***** I've encountered in a long time. Maybe she was having a bad day but when you work for, or own a business, you want your best face forward. She isn't it. Put her in the back counting paperclips but don't have her interacting with customers. Waynes lost a $100 sale and a customer for her rudeness dealing not just with me but the folks in front of me on line.
I see some great reviews so I'm not sure why my experience was so different, but it wasn't good. We were thrilled to see this place was still open until 10PM on a Saturday night, after a long day of outdoor activities. We were hoping to grab snack and wine and settle into our hotel. The place stenched of old oil from fried food, the floors were uneven, the aisles overcrowded with dusty items, tons of beer, ZERO wine. Not one bottle! Riteaid in Lincoln sells wine but not this place? Weird. When I asked the lady if they sold wine after searching she gave me a sort of sneer and an abrupt NO! To be fair in case you're not searching for wine, the pros are they offer bottled water, gas, soda, candy, appear to have a small deli, clearly they fry some type of food, and even offer some fresh produce in the back of store, but ZERO wine, I'm whining about wine. If you're hoping for a "liquor store" as listed in the google search you will only find tons of beer no other spirits. A beer lover paradise I'm sure.
