I thought this was my go to salon. When the owner could not complete my face wax as my skin became irritated she told me to come back... I did ... the woman who tried to complete the job, noted the irritation ... made it worse! When I called to complain, I was told ... that happens ... I am not a newbie to hair removal ... no ... YOU ripped my skin!!!!! I will NEVER go back.
Easily the most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. I was 15 minutes late for my wedding manicure due to circumstances beyond my control. I ran in and apologized profusely to the entire room - no one said hello or introduced themselves as an employee. Moments later, a woman with the most unfriendly look on her face walked over and said - "I hope you're ready for the fastest manicure of your life because you're so late". I responded nicely that no, that wouldn't work, as I was getting married the next day. She was wildly unfriendly, unprofessional and downright nasty. Take your business elsewhere, this place is awful!
Great experience today at 'First Impressions'. Carla is wonderful. I had a few hours to spend in Woodstock and after a little wander about the town I thought it would be nice to stop for a mani/pedi and relax, and I'm so glad I did. Carla was very friendly, professional, and great attention to detail. The salon was very clean. The leg, foot and hand massage was lovely. She did a great job of removing dead skin, cleaning up cuticles, shaping and painting the nails. There were plenty of magazines to read and I was offered tea, coffee, or water to drink Very relaxing and pleasant experience and my nails look great.
Brenda is terrific. She cuts my hair regularly, it's always simple, quick, looks nice and clean, and she is always ready to try to give me a time if I call at the last minute.
My hairdresser told me 5 days before my wedding that she could not make it, and we were all coming from 3 hours away. I called First Impressions in a shear panic and the owner told me, "You don't know me, but I won't let you go through your wedding without having your hair done". Not only did they come to me, but they also did a better job than my hair trail with my hair dresser. Thank you for making my day!
