Like pretty much everybody, I love this place! My only(so minor) complaint is that having the menu up on the wall can be a bit overwhelming. Although I knew I wanted the burger from the start, my boyfriend and I both felt that we would have like a print menu to really scrutinize before we ordered. Otherwise, we both got the farm burger, a double patty cooked medium with lettuce, cheese, and a ketchup-mayo sauce. So simple, so filling, so delicious. The burger was incredibly juicy, and the toppings were just right. You can really taste the local, farm-fresh elements in this burger. In addition, although I am usually not one for French fries, these fries have a certain truffle-y aspect that makes them addictive and I can honestly say that I ate every last one! I love this place, 30 minutes away from Dartmouth and 100% worth the (totally scenic) drive up!

Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with our visit here. To be brief I wouldn't recommend the steak frites. It was a very fatty/chewy cut of meat that I was fighting to cut laid over the French fries so half of the fries were soggy from the sauce, 4 of the Rosemary parmesan fries were so hard I couldn't bite into them, and we were underwhelmed by the service. I would have given 3.5 stars for the farmhouse burger which had good flavor though you can't make any additions to it (no bacon), the fries that were not soggy or rock hard were tasty, and the dessert was pretty good. Seeing the excellent reviews we were really excited to try this place and it seems to have a lot of potential, but I will not be going back.

Quite the unique place. Great and chill environment. Just an all around cool and relaxed ambience. Although seating is a bit different, it’s not troublesome at all. Food tastes great. Their ranch is AMAZING. Wanted to take a jug back to Massachusetts. Staff always in positive mood!

Great spot. Excellent brisket - succulent and full of flavor and the family enjoyed their assortment of burgers and salads too - real soul food. Extensive collection of beers on tap - could have stayed there all night. All in a laid back, kid-friendly, informal setting. A must-visit in Woodstock.

Food was good but plan to wait a LONG time in line waiting to order. I don't know why they don't go with a traditional server setup or just have more people at the counter taking orders. One person is not enough. Would only go back at a non busy time but we went on a Tuesday night so I would hate to see it on the weekend. Rating would be closer to 4 or 5 if they could get the ordering figured out.
